Honestly one of the most disgusting displays of parental abuse, enabling/excusing of abuse, & the normalization of illusory thinking I've ever seen in a movie. The older mothers do nothing but shame, belittle, hurt, & force their will upon their grown children the entire movie, refuse them any acknowledgment that they are individuals with agency & not objects owned by their parents, & go out of their way to be openly hateful towards their daughters. This is a horror movie for anyone but Boomers looking for another fantasy to excuse the awful world they built. The only thing good about it at all is the clear effort the cast & crew put into the performance & production; they could not possibly have been paid enough to make this rancid trash.
