It was a good one time watch movie if u think of watching it for entertainment and action. Acting was good and songs were good. I personally don't like the movie much as for me it was far from reality. Some true incidents like pulwama attack and air strike was shown else the whole movie was inspired by Bollywood masala movie. Some scenes would make u emotional but then I was hoping for a good and realistic war movie just like uri, shershah or sam bahadur. I was highly disappointed with the story line. Coming from q defense background atleast I know some technicalities and there is nothing like one man show or heroic act. I don't think Indian air force fighter pilots will be doing stunts between war to impress terrorist or pak armed forces personal. If bollywood movies are to be believed world declared terrorists like masoom azgar and haseen makseed are dead. If this is so easy I guess our army and air force won't waste a moment to kill these terrorist. India is still suffering big losses and these terrorists are still alive while bollywood is killing them so easily like they're just a mere villian in their movies. Talking of the pros: 1. acting is good 2. some dialogues are praise worthy like tujh jaise terrorist ki wajah se hum badtameezi par utar gye to tumhara har mohalla IOP ban jayega, India occupied Pakistan. Songs were good enough. Talking of the cons: 1. Typical bollywood masala movie far from reality. 2. Not actually based on true incidents but used few actual incidents like pulwama and air strike. I'll give fighter 2.5 star out of 5. A good one time watch if looking for entertainment mixed with patriotism but if you compare it with URI The Surgical Strike u will be highly disappointed.

The story was perfect with not much big names except for Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara advani but each and every cast was perfect in their role. Best part of the story was it was fully original and everything looks real no unnecessary bollywood masala. Capt Vikram Batra's family members and frnds told his stories and that was enacted. His brother Vishal Batra co-operated and took permission from armed force personnel to get the shooting done in concerned areas. Lastly the film shows two love stories one of the armed force personnel with his country and other with his real life lover. Both the love stories were so connected and glued the audience to the screen. Did full justice to the courageous and filmy story of the true army soldier capt Vikram Batra. Absolutely loved the movie. All-over the film is amazing with realistic story. Must watch
