This film highlights why reality is always a thousand times better. It’s awful.

It try’s hard but it’s not a great film

One of the greatest British films ever made.

I can’t believe how many over the top reviews are on here and by who? The list of reviewers seem dodgy by their names.But I digress… I hope Mike Leigh isn’t proud of this one because it’s a film of it’s time and in no way a classic or work of genius. It’s soooo dated and unbelievable and that’s a shame because the lead character deserved more, or at least the actor playing him did. If you feel you must like it then you shouldn’t be writing reviews, it isn’t good but like many writer/directors,Mike Leigh is great at observational drama and not so much at this.

Basically leftwing drama about the leftwing being effed up , who didn’t know?

I liked host but this was very annoying. So a woman from the USA does dash cam live to her followers and then goes to England to visit a friend. She’s over the let’s be woke and he’s not so they fall out. She steals his car and gets offered money to take this old lady somewhere. Old lady turns out to be about 16. It’s all shot split screen, mostly in the dark with cameras falling all over the place so you struggle to see what’s going on,gives you you a headache and says nothing really. Trying to be too clever for its own boots and ends up failing big time. Very disappointing.

A woman and her husband go to live in Budapest because of his work. She’s an American he’s half Romanian. She thinks someone is watching her from the opposite block of flats and then thinks she’s being followed. Women are being murdered in the area but someone is caught for it. I thought it was a good film. Nothing new but not bad acting and the streets of the city were interesting. Overall a bit formula but a good watch

Hmm it’s a weird one but quite likeable. So a couple get gifted a house in rural Ireland and are told they have to feed the goblins at the bottom of their garden. From there it gets entertaining only spoilt by the ridiculous baby bump that the lead character wears and also the really bad acting of her partner in the film, he’s awful.

I watched this because I liked sight seers and kill list but I can’t believe how terrible this film was. It had a plot crossed between a dr who episode and a bad tales of the unexpected. The characters were flat and the acting was like 6th form drama club.Ben weatley may never exceed kill list and trying to be Lars Von trier isn’t going to happen so after this I won’t be rushing to buy anymore of his films, he’s literally lost the plot
