Ya' know how annoying it is for people to tell you you "havta" see/read/get some film or book or play or rewstqaurant or dish or somtbhing or other? You have to see this play if you are Jewish. It is wonderful theater in terms of the movement, artifaces, acting, stage directiondramatic wsurprises, abrupt chan ges of mood, character development. It deals with all of the tradiituinal Jewish models of opinnion about the religion, jewishness, personhood, philosophy. It is superbly acted. It suprises constantly. And it you are not Jewish, it is a primer on what it means to be born into this proud but always questioning culture of a minority which has always swung with so much more than its weight.
