I think it's great. I really didn't think people cared this much about the plotline to a sonic game lmao. Blue Hedgehog and Mustache man are beefing over whatever, who cares. This game goes from like 3d, to 2d, to 2.5 d, and honestly it feels dynamic. I've only ever played the og sonic, and the sonic adventure series though. I thought it was fun, you get to make a lil sonic type character and they give you hella outfits. It's a bit clunky, but way easier to control than the old 3D ones. I would realistically give it like 3-4 stars, but the people here are hating so hard. It's a mid game just like sonic has always destined to be. They're fun and replayable, but it's never gonna be mind blowing. I tried sonic frontiers too and that one was pretty cool. I really don't understand the sonic game standards being so high. The 3d ones have always been clunky messes, and this one wasn't as much

It's fun, the framerate is unacceptable. You don't get "Occasional" frame drops like people say, you get frame drops all the time. I have no issues with the graphics, or gameplay. Just the frame drops make my eyes hurt. Anytime there's a wide field and you move the camera
