This show is a disgrace to all things Tolkien and to the legacy of Lord of the Rings. The writing is empty, cheap, and leaves you grimacing in disappointment. Characters are annoying to watch and inspire no emotional investment. Galadriel is a stuck up little bugger and Elrond is this weak politician when both of them (in Tolkien's books) are legendary, awe-inspiring characters; even though they're supposed to be younger versions on the two elves, there is no connection between these farces and the characters we see in the movies. Fight scenes are ridiculously stupid. Events that are supposed to be momentous according to the show have no impact. Landscape is pretty - that is literally the only positive thing about the show. They rely on graphic effects to make things 'cool' which leaves things looking goofy. A 5 year old child who can't even read yet could have written a better show than this. Save yourself the time, go rewatch the movies, and don't allow this show to disgrace the legacy of Tolkien's work in your minds. Cheers
