It’s nice to see a show about a Latino family, that being said, i HATE how Vanessa is portrayed. Why does a strong, independent beautiful woman who knows what she wants have to portrayed as desperate and controlling???
It’s 2021 people! Grow up! There’s nothing wrong with a woman proposing when she is ready. She’s in love and she’s ready, what is the problem. Take your macho points of view back to the 1950’s where they belong.
I proposed to my now-fiancé, soon to be husband. He didn’t feel forced or embarrassed. He respected that I took charge and thought it was way more romantic and creative than what he could’ve done, so he was actually relieved. Stop with your old-fashioned and chauvinistic ways of portraying women!
