I loved this Netflix series. I think younger viewers may not appreciate that time, life, love and friendship weave on at a pace but when we look back as we get older, there are key moments and people that become part of our life story. The telling of their faltering relationship that was underpinned by deep love was very moving. For all of Dexter’s faults, he loved Emily and she loved him in return. Despite knowing the ending, I still sobbed through the final episode as he revisits places and he is haunted by memories.
