I've bought it countless times simply so I could give it to somebody. It's one of the books I read every few years when I start to forget who I am. It keeps me young.
It is horrific.
It is incredibly beautiful.
I have always felt like we should hog tie our children and shovel this book into their mouths.
Or at the very least I feel like we should teach kids how to read, and make big weird buildings full of books with a free membership...and kinda hog tie our children and shovel this book into their mouths.
