This was an overally great book which i would recommend to people trying to get into thriller books, however i feel like it couldve been written better.
First of all, the plot holes are too major to ignore. For example, Verity faking her injury, how was she able to fake the brain scans? If it was with money surely Jeremy wouldve found out because no amount of check that big would go out of an account un-noticed.
Why, if jeremy already knew of the manuscript, would he read the manuscript again and be convinced that Verity was faking her injuries, as if he hadnt already known about it?
If the letter was true, and she loved both Jeremey and crew, then why was she planning on taking crew away from Jeremy? From her understanding in both letters, she knew how much Jeremy loved his children, and from the letter, she still loved and cared for jeremy. So why try to take the last thing thats keeping him sane?
Things i thought deeply about the characters :
Lowen and verity are not so diffrent since lowen finds out about the letter and puts aside all her morals to get rid of it and not tell jeremy about it, which is entirely selfish.
jeremey is not the good loving husband he is made out to be as he found it so easy to cheat on his wife.
