I am a die hard Game of Thrones fan. I believe GRRM is the #1 writer of period epics to have ever lived next to the writers of the Bible. Based on the previews, I wasn’t sure if it could live up to the masterpiece that ended in 2019, leaving us all devastated. Tonight did not disappoint. We had a watch party and we are all feeling the same way… well done GRRM, HBO, cast and crew. The one twinge I had, I added after reading other reviews but didn’t change my score. The sets are too animated; part of what I loved about Westeros before was that the set made everything feel real. I hope that changes.
