It’s good but it’s hard to get used to the actor who took over Nates role. May take awhile to like it as much as the old series

It moved to slow for me. For some reason I could not connect to the actors. Some parts of the story were unclear. For instance, it was not really stated why she started drinking. I had read Aretha Frankly’s book and watched a different version of the movie and both were better. Also Jenifer Hudson is a good actress but there is no way that she can pass for a nineteen year old. Felt like a remake of the wiz with Diana Ross. In conclusion I rented the movie for two days and I am not planning on giving it a second viewing.

I think that it is a joke. Simon should have stuck with the old format. I had recorded the live show tonight and I will be erasing it. They have too many people who should keep there day job as Ricky Lake said. I live in America and usually can’t wait for this show every year. I definitely won’t be if it stays like it is. The other show could have used some changes but not like this.
