I took my 5 year old to see it and we both loved it. It told the story of Jesus from birth to resurrection through the narration of Charles Dickens. Dickens was telling the story of The King of Kings to his own son in the movie. This was a creative way to tell the story with a boy and his pet cat learning it for the first time. I was worried about the crucification scene with my 5 year old, but it was as non-violent as they could possibly make it with still staying true to the story. I highly recommend seeing it as a family.
