This was an enormous undertaking to put Frank Herbert’s vision onto the big screen that is both entertaining and thought provoking. Although there wasn’t adequate time for the audience to bond with the characters, I think Part One is a great start and can be a great foundation for Part Two. As a big fan of Mr. Herbert’s original first 3 Dune novels, I look forward to more onscreen adaptations.
