Good movie, but some scientific aspects could have been made more accurate while keeping the drama of this exaggerated scenario (fault should not have ruptured, shaking should have been longer). Also, a topic that would provide additional drama and excitement to the movie if the writers had looked into it is the numerous fires that would occur after the earthquake.

This was a good movie, but not the best one for one good reason. The movie tarnished Emperor Palpatine reputation by making him act extremely foolish due to overconfidence. For example the emperor was foolish to completely trust Darth Vader, not have a contingency plan in case Vader betrayed him (episode 9 might fix that), hold back several star destroyers and the Executor super star destroyer from opening fire on the rebel fleet in order to create fear in the rebels by firing the second death star laser, and put the super star destroyer in front of the other star destroyers as a fear tactic.
