Imagine you took endless space and made it breed with civ 5-6, this is the result. I haven't had as much fun with a strategy turn-based game in a long time. The controls are easy to understand and the diplomacy which would be the part that gets most people, in my opinion, is complex but very easy to learn. The tutorial is straight forward and can be pulled up at any time to remind yourself of something. I'd give it an 8.5-9 (In that range somewhere)
Pros:
-Not that much time is spent doing stupid grindy things like in most RTS games.
-Randomly Generated worlds, so you pretty much get a different terrain experience every time.
-Easy to comprehend. (This isn't a Paradox game, luckily)
-Very fun combating controls. (Think of chess with extra steps and pieces like giant mechs)
-Customization is an easy 8/10
Cons:
-Not a lot of people play this game it feels like your the only person.
-Although most of this game isn't spent doing "Stupid grindy things", you will still have that, which is expected from an RTS game, just not most of the time.
-It can get boring in the late game, not every time, just, most of the time.
-Overwhelming at first, don't get driven away because you don't know what the industrial district does.
My overall summary:
It's a good game, sadly it doesn't have a big player base. If I could give the devs one suggestion it'd be to add a really big free DLC adding things like variety with units and districts. If you're thinking about getting this game, it's fun alone, and it's fun with friends (What isn't?)
{ONE MORE THING! The factions! Oh the factions, I love the factions in this game, some of the best faction customization and variety I've seen in a game. Think of Stellaris minus the unnecessary complexity.}
Easy 8.5-9/10 :)
