This is nothing like the original, it's much more emotional and raw. Steven as a character is the whole arc of the series and delves deep into the more emotional side of the original show and does an amazing job with it. Multiple of the episodes are tearjerking, the animation is good as ever, and Steven now holds a new meaning. Although short, this series is worth the watch.
