Loved this movie! Favorite Disney remake and I wasn’t a super fan of the cartoon. Removing the musical aspect and keeping it as a straight forward movie was great. I liked the instrumental version of the songs in the background to give it a bit of nostalgia. It’s nice to see a strong, fierce, and independent woman not always having the ill fated twist of being a lesbian or bi sexual. That has become such a cliche. There are strong straight women out there too. For those complaining about paying for an advanced screening, you have the option to wait. The subscription is literally $7 a month. A movie will easily cost $20.00. When was the last time you went to a movie? I was happy that for the first time in six months a decent movie was released for viewing. I’m more than happy to pay for it. For those who critique every ounce of this movie like you’re the offspring of Roger and Ebert on roids, honestly I’m not sure why you even bother to watch anything. You suck the joy out of entertainment.
