If you like fast-moving films only, this is not for you! This movie was so beautifully done. The little girl was absolutely amazing as was the rest of the cast. It IS heart wrenching, so be forewarned. It is about kindness and how important it is. It's also about lack of kindness and how detrimental it is to a child, to anyone really. My heart still aches hours later.

This movie, for me personally, had no meaning at all. The only characters I liked were the kids, and the story made being a parent seem like a thankless, horrific thing as all kids do most of the time is be annoying. I did not understand the ending. I read that it was open to interpretation; well I want my endings interpreted after investing that much time. Netflix owes me over two hours I will otherwise never get back! Olivia Coleman is wonderful as always but sadly I hated her character!

I absolutely LOVE this program! The two leads are great -- I love watching Howard Charles! He is so good. The stories are anything but cliched (as someone else said) as far as I'm concerned. The setting is great. I am crossing my fingers there will be a series 2!

I love this show! It's warm and funny, and we need more of that.

This movie was exquisite! Beautifully acted by all. Andrew Lincoln and Naomi Watts were wonderful as was the young man who played Noah. I know how a creature can pull you out of depression, can be your companion when humans just won't do. I thoroughly enjoyed this movie!

Sort of spoiler alert: I have watched the first two episodes and overall I like it. BUT - don't expect to see Ryan Phillippe for long at all. I am angry at the deception of using him in one lone episode to draw people in. He should have been shown as a guest star, not the lead. I realize he was the draw but it is fraud to portray him as someone who will be part of the series.

This short program is a masterpiece. It hurt my heart, tore out my guts, kept me enthralled. Nicola Walker and Stellan Skarsgard are so incredibly talented and have such amazing chemistry in this series. I so wish there were more - I didn't want it to end.
