Mitch

This is without a doubt one of the worst shows I've ever seen in my entire life. Some directors create amazing films, like "Drive", and when they're given free reign to make whatever they want, you get this slog that David Lynch wouldn't even sit through. The hyper violence means nothing. The s** and ra** scenes do not add to the story, instead making you wish you started watching something else. I'd rather watch "Velma" on repeat with the volume at full blast. By the ending of episode 8, I had enough and played the rest on 2x speed, which still was a will of patience as Refn decided to up the long shots, slomo and sparse dialogue. If anybody decides to watch this show because you're bored. I recommend planting grass and watching that grow. At least grass has something to offer, while "Too Old to Die Young" makes you wish for a targeted lobotomy once the last episode is over. If you're still on the fence, keep in mind that I loved "Only God Forgives". Arguably Refn's worst film.
