Zach Efron gave a brilliant performance. The physical training he did to transform his body to what he portrayed in the movie is incredible! Other than watching him, this movie is a tremendous disappointment insofar as its accuracy.
My husband remembers these wrestlers and the family's tragedies. This movie left out a lot. AND, the other actors were a sorry cry in appearance to whom they were supposed to be playing.
You'd be better off watching, "The Dark Side of the Ring" clips on YouTube with Kevin Von Erich for the real stories. I wasted money on this.
