This is a great movie featuring Mel Gibson what's not to like? Heath ledger is in it at a young age. The historical references are fairly accurate the special effects are amazing if you want to know what the colonial wars were all about this is a great movie to watch that's not only interesting but also educational... You can say whatever you want about Mel Gibson but this is a great movie this was a powerful performance it's long but it's worth every minute of your time if you have not watched the Patriot you should watch it.
