I enjoyed the movie and have watched it a few times. Unfortunately, I am reading the original stories written by Robert E Howard. The movie has some of the spirit of the Solomon Kane character. But I have yet to find a story in which Solomon Kane is a former pirate trying to redeem his soul and sinful past.
