If you like Judge Judy, Judge Joe Brown, or any of the judge-based US TV shows, this is basically the same principle, but in the UK (and I think it's the first of it's kind here, I've not heard of another).
The cases are real, the people are real, and the Judge is Fabulous.
The show has comedy, seriousness, and decisions that I can generally get behind. The difference between this and the US shows is that it's generally a little less bombastic, and a little more realistic. I don't feel that the Judge is making personal decisions based on his feelings like I do with some of the US Judges, I feel that Rinder aims for legally accurate decisions.
