A Wicked Fan's Movie Review: Okay, where do I begin? I know Ariana Grande as Glinda and Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba deserve to be the heirs of Kristen Chenoweth and Idina Menzel. Yes, they served, ate, and left no crumbs. All the songs were outstanding. Since they were singing live while shooting, the emotion was truly evident and impactful. Favorite scenes: - The Ball Dance: Elphaba silently danced, and it was full of emotion. Watch the movie, and you’ll understand why. - Welcome to the Emerald City scene: Two unexpected cameos made me exclaim, “Sh*t the f up! I swear, this is an amazing treat for Wicked fans!” 💚💚 - The Popular scene: Since Kristen is my standard “OMFG,” Ariana did an amazing job. Brava! 👏👏👏 - And of course, the ending scene: It was very powerful, full of emotion, and most importantly, it set things up perfectly for Wicked Part 2! Though, I’ve never seen the play itself. I’ve read the book, and they retained most of the details, which made me so happy. #Wicked #wickedmusical #WickedMovie
