Great small town political drama with corruption, a prison in town, gangs- both in and out of the prison. Good cast. Well written.

Just a plain old good movie. Never heard of lead actress, Elizabeth Hartman, before. She easily holds her own with Poitier-who has amazing screen presence. It was seems Hartman died young, which is probably why she's not better known.
