Starts well enough, but when the real plot unfolds it quickly becomes nonsensical. You keep waiting for an explanation of what is going on. There is so much lead up that when it finally unfolds and tries to complete the parallels, foreshadowing,..etc it really doesn't make any sense. Let's dazzle the audience that will blow their minds!!! Don't worry about it not making any real sense. The horror, action, and I guess the scope they were going for has merit and there are many entertaining parts. But seriously who green lit the plot? Did they actually have a deep read of the script? More likely they saw, "Oh it's the director who did Get Out, yeah greenlight this production" $$$ Bbrrrr. I should stop but it really irks me that a little tweak here and there could have gone a long way in making this make some level of sense.
