(10/10)
I disagree with many of the other reviews on here and here's why...
SPOILERS
The movie brought an aspect to horror that we've seen before in terms of the shaky camera movie. However it brings a far more unique story to tell. You've seen ghosts and zombies but this movie brings religion to it with an even darker taste to it.
Watching these characters navigate and wind through the tunnels felt so real almost as if I was there with them the whole time. Every turn brought more of a darker aspect than the movie had five minutes before. Leaving you on the edge of your seat and your jaw dropped the whole time.
The ending caught me off guard. Sure there were moments of "why would you do that?!" and "NO STOP" but that's the same as every movie. The final scenes shows the final three survivors returning to the surface of the regular world and wondering off into the night. Some people argue it was a bad idea for the developers to go however it answered the only question we needed to know. "Did they survive?" Everything happened from the second we saw them rise from the sewer drain wasn't important. Viewers have been reading too much into it and watched it hoping something bad would happen so much that when nothing did happen they felt the need to complain. The surviving characters walked off and carried on with their lives just like anyone else in life.
Overall this movie brought a new taste for horror lovers and as a person who is a major fan of horror and scary things all together was on edge with a jaw dropped the whole film.
