The only thing they did in this movie that I can say was good. Was the cameo appearance of the original Ghostbusters. Everything else was just I can see why people hated this movie. From Chris Hemsworth's character being a talking walking airhead, to the idiotic genius character of Kate McKinnon, to yet another idiot character of leslie jones. The only character in the entire movie that was done well was Melissa McCarthy's. Every single other character in this movie was just poorly written.

I watched this film thinking it was going to be focusing on Mr. Rogers, but it was anything but that. I remember watching Mr. Rogers as a kid I honestly thought it was a rather boring show. So I never was able to finish an episode. But of course as I grew older and was able to grasp onto what exactly he was trying to. I suppose due to these memories this movie was just disappointing. Now Tom Hanks of course was able to take the role and act as if he was mr. Rogers and pulled it off beautifully. This sole part of the brief glimpses into the actual life of mr. Rogers that he did were wonderful. But selling this as a movie about the life of mr. Rogers and turning around and making it centered on someone else is just something all to common from Hollywood anymore. With each passing year I feel less and less like watching these movies as they are just disappointing. As I said aside from Tom Hanks being able to pay a wonderful homage with the character the movie just falls short to me.

I was some what disappointed that the iconic addams family intro was not the first song heard in the film. Instead it was a pop song that to me had nothing to do remotely with the addams family. which promotes being as far from being what is normal to the masses and being true to your self. How ever the did keep the iconic song with it coming in as the second song heard. The dark sense of humor the addams are known for did feel slightly diluted, as if they were treading carefully not to offend any tight anal mothers or fathers. Even though that was the entire point of the addams family. Overall its an alright film, not a great film nor a great addition to the addams family line up. But it does pay homage to the films before it and the series and comics that came before it. It had a few wonderful pieces here and there but the absolute worse thing of the entire film is which ever writer/s thought it was a good idea to have Wednesday wear pink. For shame on them I say.
