I wanted it to be 5-star worthy so bad! But its just "ok". I've been following the lore and development since day 1 and I'm kind of 'meh' about it. If they were looking to make this the start of a new direction for Jurassic...it feels like they didn't leave any doors open for themselves for it. I kind of wish they continued on with the psycho-biotech companies causing chaos across the world...I was kind of hoping Parkergenix was going to whip around and do something crazy aside from 'saving the world from heart disease'. Even like a glimpse post-credit scene to build hype for a possible new trilogy would have been great but it kind of ended at a hard stop. They got the DNA and they're going to save the world from heart disease by sharing with all of the scientists...great....and....???? Look, its a beautifully done movie, ill give it that and the actors did a great job. The story line just felt weak and didnt leave room for future development IMO, and if they have a plan they failed to build hype in this movie for it.
