Well, I’ll put it this way, there is a time to fight. But somehow the Jason Bourne moves don’t seem to fit elderly Denzel Washington taking on as many people as he used to do. But it’s as entertaining as Bronson for sure to see the bad guys get their due. And his sitting in the church praying seems as genuine as the mafioso guy praying ha ha. And that town coming together like they did at times made me really laugh. It reminded me of Fletch Lives where the whole plantation gathered round and did a song and dance routine. I also don’t like how he coddled to the CIA like they are some good guys as they are painted in the movie when most know some of their not so nice reputation. And then he gives up his little black book to that chick at the end. What was that about and what if he decides to move on to Equalizer 4 ha ha? What kind of messages is holy wood sending? Its probably a lot more than we’re aware of but no different than a lot of holy wood movies. Of course getting beyond all the underneath the surface messaging, and probably a lot more than I’ve mentioned or noticed, its a pretty good escape movie - and definitely some great scenery and a few moral - sort of- messages. And the bad guys eating spaghetti and meatballs and drinking wine for their last supper before the slaughter was a kick!
