It's just not good. Plain and simple.
You're thinking "I'll watch it for myself" just like I did. That was a mistake. I want that time out of my life back. It has nothing to do with "wokeness" or whatever, it's just not good because it's just not good. Even the sequel movies grew on me over time, but Acolyte was one of the worst things I've watched in awhile.
