Battle scenes are gory, horrendous, so be advised. It can be exhausting. Character studies/relationships are very well done, if minimalized. Acting is all-around terrific. The script writes itself. It seemed historically accurate. I learned. I wept. My father's generation. War is hell. Spielberg & Hanks as producers showed their consummately professional hands.
