Oakley Hyland

This movie is a childhood classic for me, I was only 7 or 8 when I watched this stand I love it, the music is popular and nostalgic, the acting is pretty good for a "kid's" movie, and it's pretty funny at moments. there are moments that are very bad and dumb as an older teen and reader of the books. it is a very bad adaptation. but a movie? I think it's pretty good. yes this movie does "promote" bad behavior but it's for kids. which is why it over exaggerates the principal being this evil ruler of the school. no principal is actually this evil, they just have their own rules to keep the school safe and in check. so the movie isn't promoting bad behaviour, it's connecting with the kids who don't grow up and have the mindset of a creative young one, that's what it's promoting.
