Bruh this book highlights a lot of societal issues. It's crazy man. From racism, to being black in America, to bring African in America, to being African in Africa, to being colonized in Africa, to be how Africans not understand the deep suffering of black Americans, to Africans joining hands with the colonizers to sell slaves, to the slave trade, to interracial marriages, to whites being aloof when it comes to no understand the suffering of black Americans. Omo it was every damn thing in this book. Crazy! I love the author!!! I was so impressed that this was her debut!!! 10/10!!!
