Well-shot movie pulled down by lazy writing and boring main character.
1) The character was flat and constant. No character development or arc at all. He starts out as a psychopath and stays that way.
2) The film promotes 2 wrong messages: 1. Suicide is better than losing, and 2. Successful people achieve it not by hard work or dedication, but by ruthlessly exploiting others. Looks the writer forgot about achievers like Sachin Tendulkar or Abdul Kalam.
3) Too much handwaving. Everything just conveniently goes Mukundan Unni's way - trail of evidence and witnesses be damned.
4.) Unsatisfying ending. The truth is no one reaches that kind of success without sacrifice (even evil masterminds) and the hero doesn't have to sacrifice anything - or at the very least suffer.
