Good movie except for the fact that the only call back their gonna do, is not the fact that she can sing this song that gets her a audition at a good drama / singing / whatever college. no that's not the throw back, pfft what do you think? no the call back, other then the elderly asian ladies god bless the call back at the end is her giving a donut to old guy with dementia. she doesn't sing at the end of the variety show, she gives a heartfelt speech. she sings once in the entire movie, with her crush. in his vacation home. "you can sing! you got this amber! channel your sadness to sing! " " I don't like the amber that was happier and more obnoxious to deal with. tell her i don't like her when she comes back again " she doesn't sing. she doesn't sing again in the whole movie. they only hint that she sings again in the audition they had, the marching band there to give more instrumental if the piano, they had the old ladies there to give backup vocals, But no, they threw away the opportunity just to have old lady give her the dough at the end of the speech. that old lady dope as hell too. they resolved the conflict of " we didn't reach the goal :( " SO FAST THAT I FEEL LIKE I GOT WHIPLASH jeez i needed to get this off my chest bruh this stupid as hell
