At first when I started watching it, so much had changed about the characters I kind of didn’t like it. But upon the continuation of the show, I LOVE IT! The development is so interesting and funny. If you get past the differences from the original show, you’d see how good this show actually is. I love it so please please please don’t cancel this show. People are so dense so they’re giving dense reviews but not everything has to stay the same. It’s different but I know that’s the point. As a show on its own, it’s a 8 1/2 out of 10!

To be fair I have never watched the original gossip girl I only read the books and that was so long ago I can barely remember the plot so my review is solely based off the show alone and in no way in comparison to the original show from 2007. I absolutely LOVED this show! It was super interesting and got me super involved on an emotional level. I am super disappointed that HBO Max has canceled the show but it is probably due to the reviews which I have to say are BIASED! Please just watch the show for yourself and you’ll see it’s super good! And try not to compare and contrast because that’s how you ruin the remake of ANY show period. If the show is good, it is simply good! With that being said, a lot of people are saying it wasn’t good because it wasn’t “similar” to the older version but I can appreciate creativity and this show DEFINITELY DELIVERED CREATIVITY!
