I listened to this audio book in its entirety as I repainted a cabinet with new found energy on the tail end of Covid.
It was the perfect uplifting painting companion. Rachel’s familiar and seemingly always cheerful voice effortlessly recounted the ups and downs of young adulthood, her career, personal and professional struggles, and to my delight a surprise blessing.
I found myself rooting for her and at times laughing out loud at nightmare dating scenarios and ridiculous incidents come to life.
As a fan of her work, I enjoyed learning more about this fellow Boston (area) native. After finishing the book I feel a kinship with her and am glad she took the time to share her story.
