This book somehow manages to be insulting to Gen. Z, Christians, rational adults, English speakers... The list goes on. I mean you have to respect how many directions this book offends in. Watering down the beautiful language of the scripture isn't going to cause young people to ignore just how hateful and terrible most organized Christianity has become lately. People, particularly young people, are walking away from the church in droves because most Christian organizations have become idolatrized and her hateful towards women and minorities and people of different sexualities and genders. That hate is going to erode and erode and erode the churches. Its past the point of no return now. They had ever opportunity to save themselves and become the loving institution that Jesus intended but they haven't. This book is a hilarious representation of what an out of touch church thinks young people need.
