This show was far more interesting & the acting far better than I was expecting!
But, truthfully, it should not be a surprise because Natasha Lyonne is always incredible.
This show manages to keep things light & funny without becoming too corny.
Each episode, with the exception of the first, opens with what happened then backtracks, explaining Charlie's role in the plot. Each episode is set in a new place with new people as she herself is a modern nomad and never stays in one place too long.
Her humble, quirky kindness are the kind of glass half full charisma that can soften the sharp edges of any situation & keep the storyline from wandering into depressing.
I very much look forward to season 2!
