Save your time, this is a marvel-themed rick and morty episode.
Extremely shallow characters unable to hold tension due to the audience being battered with endless slapstick jokes, another insult at the viewers from Disney.
I won’t delve into spoilers, although there isn’t much to spoil, as I truly believe this movie is worth showing to a concerning marvel fan friend in order to cure them.
The entire movie felt like the milking of cash from the lifeless body of Thor, which was already rotting when he was fat and playing Fortnite in the previous attempt to humiliate Chris Hemsworth.
I understand this isn’t meant to be taken the same as real cinema, but the quality of writing is truly devastating.
Only shame with this movie is the terrible treatment of VFX artists by Marvel+Disney, especially considering the fact this movie is 99% CGI and the only upside it has is a couple of nice visuals (and many abhorrent ones, but again, I don’t blame the poor overworked team.)
To sum up, cheap gimmicks coupled with political correctness in order to create a true zoomer-market funko pop selling forgettable flick that will have you wishing you used your time to do something more productive, such as gardening or table tennis.
