Oh my God! This may be the most atrocious mess I've ever seen. I wanted to give it a chance because of its Emmy nominations. But no. It was the most confusing mess with such unlikeable characters that after awhile and a splitting headache, I no longer cared what the plot was or what happened to the characters. I just wanted my wasted time back.

Like fingernails on a chalkboard. Eh.

I tried to like this. It seemed like I was missing something, since so many people think it's hilarious. But maybe they are talking about the British version. But I couldn't stay interested. I not only didn't find it funny, I found it boring. Each time I've tried to watch it, I lost interest 10 minutes in and switched channels.

Seriously tried to like the show, but it's almost painfully cringeworthy.

Since I have never watched Stranger Things, I don't know if it's like that. However, I like Paper Girls very much. The characters are well developed. The story, as weird as it is, never gets too confusing. It certainly never gets boring. Some complaints I've read don't make sense tome. I just like it.
