**Vaguely Spoilery** It had so much potential. I wanted so badly to like this movie. A badass female assassin and a library full if guns? Impeccable in theory. But the writing sucked. I'm sorry but this movie was so cringe. Really weak one-liners, poor acting, no fulfilling backstory or context... "this is a bad guy" okay..why? We just gotta accept that as viewers? Alrighty.. "A slick action thriller" ..I wasn't feeling thrilled in the slightest. CGI blood is super lame. Karen Gillian's acting was painful.. I'm sorry 😞 she seems so cool but her acting felt so forced and disingenuous. Some cool action scenes featuring the Librariaunts. The only part that actually made me feel something was the fight scene with Madeleine. The score was decent. I like the mom. I wish it'd been better.

(Slight spoilers) The animation was beautiful, the idea and storyline were so creative, I enjoyed watching it... but by the end I felt like there was something lacking? And I had so many questions that hadn't been answered. It was definitely entertaining but idk.. something felt off. I think I would have liked more backstory. How did nimona live so long? Where did she come from? What was the villains beef with her? Many why's and how's and not enough answers. Nimona as a character is badass though
