Honestly, this began as my favorite souls game to date. The gameplay is like Skyrim meets dark souls, but what really ruined the game for me was the fact that after they came out with the new patch 1.03, my entire save progress of 60 hours, on level 124, and far into the game was completely gone. It told me it was corrupted and to delete it just to play the game. When I opened the game it said new game and that's it. I tried to download the save file from my ps plus online account like I've done with other games and they have no issues, but elden ring will repeatedly say "cannot download". So my entire game is gone and I'm not restarting it either. What a waste of $60 seriously. I'm not the only one either. People are losing 5-80 hours worth of their gameplay and going back a tremendous amount of levels for no reason. Others that are more unlucky like me lost their entire game. How about making sure the game actually works before charging people $60 to play and get excited just to lose everything. I wouldn't recommend this game unless they fix that, otherwise you're risking losing your saves even if you properly exit the game.
