So as a person who has read the books this is based upon I'm disappointed. I love the book. And I like the movie... however if this movie is based upon the book then they should have stayed with what the book is truly about. So if you've watched the movie and want to read the book after go right ahead. It's a guaranteed enjoyment, however if you choose to watch the movie after you read the book prepare to be disappointed. Although I have the issue with the fact they didn't stick with the book I truly did enjoy this movie. It warmed my heart and helped me to get into the holiday spirit.
