Summer Shores

Big fan of the original gladiator, so I was very much looking forward to it. Opening scene was CGI, and you could reallllly tell, which was surprising. My biggest qualm is that the character development was quite lacking, I felt no connection to anyone in the movie, while the original really invoked a lot of emotion. The lines felt lazy and sometimes off, and again the CGI was just obvious and it left a bad taste in my mouth. Overall i left the movie thinking “meh”, wasn’t impressed by any of the acting either.

It just felt slow, tired and drawn out, and why god is travis kelce in it. Maybe i'm just tired of Ryan Murphy.

Was surprised to see the great reviews. It felt poorly written to me and barely scary, had to fast forward through a lot because it was so slow.
