One of the best dystopian sci-fi in a very very long time indeed. Loved it completely. Last sci-fi of note I remember was Person of Interest. But this is an awesome series nonetheless after the debacle of Foundation series on Apple TV. Plot is reveting, acting was brilliant. Mayor was poignantly played and Bill Patton and David Oyelowe were remarkable in their character portrayal. And what to say about Tim Robbins...perhaps we will see more of the villain he portrays and you'd find every character pleasing and authentic in their role. There's no identity politics, no wokism...its about character building and how they become who they are. There are no Mary Sue but Rebecca Ferguson is awesome in her character, vulnerable yet strong and we get to know how she became like that. I have only watched first 5 episodes and I loved the plot, storyline, character building and apolitical tone (read WOKE and identity politics) which is remarkable in this age and time. Highly recommend.

Well, it's not really incredulous that series like this don't make it to top 10 most watched list but 365 or a Dark Desire instantly do. First off, you need to appreciate more than just nudity and kung fu. Second, you need to see the sarcasm and humour thats lie beneath what some people may say mindless laughter or slapstick jokes. Okay, its being compared to the Office, but that's unfair to be honest. It may be a work place drama, but it is much more. Dunno what critics call it but I for one thoroughly enjoyed watching both sesions. 2nd is better to be honest. There's much more focus on character building, and humour sometimes reminded me of Catch 22. Yep, its something like that for me. I would definitely recommend it.
