The one day Netflix adaptation is wonderful. Some people say there is no chemistry between Woddall and Mod… oh yes there is! The story is about two opposites attracting, finding themselves and losing themselves along the way. Anne Hathaway just couldn’t cut it as Em like Amika Mod does. The hollywood version sexualises it but this version is so much more to book and real life ! I did enjoy the film and loved the book when it came out in my early twenties . What struck me in this version is the grief. Woddall shows it very well in his interpretation as Dex! Just impeccable acting. The fact that the actor who played Isn was a comedian makes it more natural too.
