I love the show. It showcases the talent, heart, and sense of family we find within the gay community. Seeing how deeply some of these families love each other and how they support one another has brought tears to my eyes more than once. The world needs more of this. Finally, the world sees what the ballroom culture has offered to it unbeknownst to most for decades. I love that they no longer have to be underground, hidden, or closeted, and the world gets to see their greatness while they compete to get paid for it. This is some of the Gay culture at its finest. I am glad they are getting their due, and I hope this goes on as long-lasting as Drag Race. We need to drag this country into the 21st century, and there is nothing better than gay culture, thee culture of inclusion, to do it.
